The biggest EVENT for Fashionistas this month: Jakarta Fashion Week 2010/2011

Once again, Femina Group as one of the biggest media companies in Indonesia organizing the biggest fashion show in Jakarta. From 6-12 November 2010, Jakarta Fashion Week 2010/2011 - Styling Modernity, will presenting all the best creation of our very own Indonesian fashion designers, either those who already established their footage in this country for many years or those who are still freshly graduates from fashion schools.

Names like Ghea S. Panggabean, Chossy Latu, Adjie Notonegoro are among the renown fashion designers that have been in the business for many years. Besides them, the new rising stars such as Priyo Oktaviano, Lenny Agustin and also some labels such as Danjyo/Hiyoji, Geulis, Saint and Sinners, etc. also participating in this most anticipating event of the year by fashion enthusiasts and retailers

Hosting by Pacific Place again this year, this high end mall have provided their prominent space to fully support this event as the biggest fashion event of the year. Personally I like the stage and the sitting layout. It's better than last year ;)

It is truly a feast for my eyes when I look at this fascinating creativity and my sincere appreciation for each designer for their passion and effort that have been made. Although some of the clothes may not too commercial and only looks good on zero size models, many of them successfully have combined their design ideas and business sense to make a fashionable and wearable piece of clothing. Smart!

Having been in the retail business for more than 15 years and have been a Fashion Enthusiast since my teen age, I'm really excited to see the progress and quality of the Indonesian Designers. Through diversity in ideas and creativities, I believe in the very near future fashion will become one of the most fastest growing industry in this country. Love it!
