On the first day of JFW, Saturday evening, Pacific Place which located in CBD area was jammed with hundreds of cars and in front of the South Entrance we could see hundreds if not thousands of well-dressed people queuing up to enter the Fashion Tent, where the first show going to begin that evening.
A Tribute to Kebaya, was the title of the show that night, featuring all the Best Indonesian Fashion Designers that known for their Kebaya dress as their signatures, such as Adjie Notonegoro, Anne Avantie, Ghea S. Panggabean, Harry Darsono, Edward Hutabarat, Ramli, and many more. It was a lovely creations and magnificent show, indeed.
On Sunday when I went to Pacific Place again to swing by for lunch on the fourth floor, I saw there was a fashion show as well...Some young designers, are showing their creation...I can't remember the brands, though, I was quite far from the MC and I can't clearly hear what she said about the brand...but one brand that I hear it quite clear was Ms. Jones. Happen to be our neighbor in Mazee.
Then on Tuesday, I attended some shows, from ESMOD graduates and also designers of APPMI (Assosiasi Perancang dan Pengusaha Mode Indonesia), pretty good shows I must says :)
Vintage or Modern, Maximalist or Minimalist, Ethnical or Universal, whatever the theme and inspiration, they all well presented on the catwalk. Just nice!
